Columbus Home Children’s Services
Columbus Home Children’s Services CCETN provides a continuum of care to children, birth through 17, who have been or are in danger of being removed from the home because of abuse, neglect or other endangerment. Services include intensive in-home services and family counseling to prevent abuse or out-of-home placement of children and emergency shelter and assessment for placement determination. Counseling
Counseling services include therapeutic counseling in various schools and parishes in the area and, on a sliding fee scale, for others in the community with limited income.

Crazy Quilt Friendship Center serves families in need, always with dignity and compassion through its food pantry & emergency assistance program, thrift store, and seasonal children’s programs.

Housing
In addition to emergency and transitional housing, Samaritan Place, for senior adults, also offers permanent supportive housing, day stay and respite care services. Samaritan Place is one of fewer than 20 such programs in the nation. All shelter and housing services clients receive intensive case management. For information about specific programs, please visit:

Immigrant Services
The Office of Immigrant Services provides low-cost assistance for those who cannot afford an attorney to foster family unity and self-sufficiency of immigrant families.

Pregnancy Services
Pregnancy and post-abortion counseling are also offered, along with life-skill mentoring for both men and women dealing with the consequences of an unplanned pregnancy. For information about specific programs, please visit:
